The Gas-Pressure-Adjustment-Valve (1) regulates automatically the height of the flame in dependence on the boiler pressure. In case of running the locomoitive slowly the boiler perssure does not rise and keeps constant with a small burner flame. The Gas-Pressure-Adjustment-Valve can be used for all gas heated steam engines.
